Organizational Training Programs
Astute Doctor partners with healthcare organizations to meet performance improvement, learning and development, and patient experience goals. Our talented and experienced team of professionals will work with you to design and deliver customized training programs for healthcare providers and staff members. Our training programs can be delivered as self-directed e-learning, online live training, in-person training, or a blend of learning formats. Your custom training program can be hosted on the Astute Doctor learning portal or we can publish courseware that works with your existing Learner Management System. e-Learning Module Development
Astute Doctor has years of experience in producing and updating e-learning modules. We publish content for our own course library, and also offer e-learning technical development services to corporate clients and other organizations. Whether you’re creating a new course from scratch, you have an older course in need of a refresh, or you want to move a live program to online — we’re here to help. The team at Astute Doctor can manage the entire process including instructional design, content writing, editing, e-learning storyboarding, technical media development, module publishing, LMS testing, overlaid with skilled project management and exceptional customer service. Healthcare Provider Communication Seminars
Interactive seminars designed for groups of 20-50 healthcare providers, and delivered by a member of the Astute Doctor Speaking Faculty — a group of physicians and healthcare providers who are provider-patient communication experts. Popular topics include patient-centered care, empathy-based communication techniques, shared decision-making, managing patient expectations, and negotiating with patients. Seminars are typically 90-120 minutes in duration and delivered live in-person or live online. Continuing education credits available.
Patient Experience Workshop
A live in-person learning experience designed for groups of 10-20 healthcare providers. Facilitated by members of the Astute Doctor Speaking Faculty, this workshop focuses on developing patient-centered interpersonal skills that improve provider performance and boost patient experience. Available in 2-hour and 4-hour formats. Continuing education credits available.
Resident Interpersonal Communication Skills
Astute Doctor partners with Residency Program Directors to teach strong patient communication skills and ensure your curriculum covers the ACGME core competencies. Build a customized self-directed e-learning pathway for PGY 2-4 residents with the option of live online discussion groups with physician experts from the Astute Doctor Speaking Faculty.
